What the heck is Winter Storm Blair? You southerners name your winter storms?

To be fair, we do too……we call it winter. 😂

Wasn’t Blair one of the golden girls? I’ve never heard of naming them either but I know some people that called the one last year some very creative strings of curse words

the home team here has accumulated 102.9 inches of snow so far this winter

Wow that seems like a lot but maybe that's average for "lake effect" amounts.  We've only got about 6 inches here in the Twin Cities thus far and we're over a foot behind average.  And there is no real measureable snow in sight either.

@TnRiver46 I think that’s Blanche. And I have no clue how I even know that.

As predicted, we have 10" to 12" of snow on the ground here. Bitter cold in the morning then warming up to around 15 or so by afternoon. It's supposed to get up around 29 degrees tomorrow. It will feel like a heat wave here.

We got around 10” and I’ve already shoveled the driveway but getting ready to head out and attack my biggest “pet peeve”.  While I appreciate we are on a school bus route and get our street plowed quickly, I live in the back of a culdesac where all of the plowed snow ends up.  I don’t mind shoveling out the end of the driveway but they literally bury my mailbox with the heaviest snow boulders and sometimes even knock down my fence.  I guess I’ll quit my bitchin and go grab the shovel.

The area that the plow comes through and leaves bigger, heavier blocks from the street are the worst.  I'm very familiar with those lol

It was 26 here in southeast Arkansas when I rolled out of the rack this morning. We’re forecasted for some ice and snow this afternoon, coming up from Texas. I hate winter!

MINUS 14 up in the north woods this morning.  Cold paw was running ramped.

KYA went down like she'd been taken out by a Shnypah

That was for my Bay State peeps.

You know what it's like.

If the pollen is way down, not a bad time to get a jump on the lawn then :)

@TnRiver46 Blair was the blonde on The Facts of Life.

Now that that’s settled, waiting in Charlotte on 1-3 or 3-5 inches of snow. Hide your babies…

Same here this morning, luckily not much wind. Supposed to be around 20 when I start work at 04:00 tomorrow morning, but they're calling for 3"-5" overnight. Good chance I'll be throwing chains to get into my first well pad. Booo..........

@TnRiver46 I think your tape measure needs calibrated because that doesn’t look like 3”. You can keep telling your wife that’s 3” though, I won’t throw you under the bus. 😁
