I can't believe it's the second week of November, and I'm still catching active fish.

The boat is winterized, so I'm limited to fishing from shore, mostly ponds.  Seeing as ponds cool down much quicker than lakes, I was surprised to catch fish on a crank today. I started off with a nose hooked Senko, but the first two fish I caught had choked it. Seeing as they were active, I switched to a flat sided crank and a moderate to fast retrieve was getting hammered. All fish were caught with the whole bait in their mouth.  I even caught my biggest bass ever from this pond and I've been fishing it for about five years.  I only fished for two hours and got seven fish, five on the crank, IN NOVEMBER!

It’s awesome isn’t it?  I’m in the Green Bay Area. I’ll have the boat out tomorrow.

My little 300 acre lake in MI was at 56 on wednesday.  There's definitely a couple weeks left of active bass over here looking at the forecast, though mine only wanted slow stuff the last couple days.  But there was some bigguns mixed in, which is just fine by me.

East Central Illinois here.  This is usually the time of year that I'm getting my largest numbers by far.  The warm weather has slowed that.  I caught about 20 today but the water temps are still about 6 degrees higher than usual for November 15.  I'm hoping the incoming cold will bump up the action for a week or so before the fall feed is done for the year.

Still catching them good, just shore fishing at some local channels here in Wisconsin. The boat is done for the year, but I’ll fish from shore till ice.
got 3 in a quick 30 minute trip before sundown last night. Throwing cranks .

The bass around here are starting to move around much more.  In many of the small lakes I fish, crankbaits and spinnerbaits are starting to outproduce weightless worms and Texas rigs.  It may be time to tie on the swim jig again.

I just might go down to my pond and cast a few times from shore!
