I just usually buy what I want, when I want.  Don't typically buy myself anything "special" for Christmas.  Though I do buy myself plenty around the holiday sale season.  I just bought a $400 knife a couple days ago.  Does that count?

manual labor is my favorite, still chop wood with an axe 😂. Somebody asked me what would be my dream job the other day, I said shoveling gravel or chopping wood haha

if I got as much snow as where you live, I would just have to cut tiny walking paths thru it, a snow blower costs more than the vehicles I drive 😂

I once visited my sister for the holidays.  it was snowy!!  I shoveled her walkway and stuff.  super exhausting but strangely satisfying.  I ended up just doing the two adjacent neighbors as well, since they were both elderly.

 

what a great workout.  I like splitting wood better tho.  hahah...and I like jumping on a plane and flying back to CA, where I just put on a hoodie.
