Eric 26 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I’m curious if anyone else is looking forward to the match coming up this Friday the 15th? At 55 years old I’ve watched more than my fair share of Tyson matches on pay per view when he was in his prime. 1 Quote
Super User T-Billy Posted November 10, 2024 Super User Posted November 10, 2024 I won't be watching, but I hope Mike sleeps him in the first. I'm the same age as you @Eric 26, and also got to watch Tyson wreck everyone in the HW division back in the day. 2 2 Quote
Super User GreenPig Posted November 10, 2024 Super User Posted November 10, 2024 I'll watch at some point because it's Tyson. I'm with T-Billy on the outcome. 2 Quote
BigAngus752 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 The wife and I are looking forward to watching Iron Mike drop this fool. It will make me feel better about my own age too! LOL 4 Quote
Susky River Rat Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I think they’re very few people that don’t want Tyson to steam roll him. Just for old times sake. you think though He’s going to get x millions of dollars to take a nap at Tyson’s hands. I almost can’t blame him. 3 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted November 10, 2024 Super User Posted November 10, 2024 I'll be watching without question. 1 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted November 11, 2024 Super User Posted November 11, 2024 Far as I'm concerned - after Tyson took a piece out of Holyfield's ear, he should have been banned for life. 1 Quote
Super User FishTank Posted November 11, 2024 Super User Posted November 11, 2024 I see some of this coming Jake Paul's way. 1 Quote
MediumMouthBass Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 One is and always was a fighter, the other is a spoiled rich kid that was an idiot on youtube for most of his life. Im all in on Tyson. Quote

GReb Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 I just wonder how much an actual “fight” it will be. I have a feeling Jake puts up a better fight than most want him to. This is far from prime Mike Tyson. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted November 11, 2024 Super User Posted November 11, 2024 These type of fights really don't do a lot for me unfortunately. I actually have an over due library book I need to get back that night... 1 1 Quote

Susky River Rat Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 @MN Fisher when you tell the ref you’re getting head butted in two different fights and nothing gets done maybe you shouldn’t let Tyson take matters into his own mouth….i men’s hands. I’m willing to bet he never head butted anyone again. Quote

This is a man who was convicted of violent rape and assault and served 2+ years in prison. Biting a dude's ear off was child's play. This is a man who has the faces of Mao and Che tattoo'd on his body, yet he's beloved by Americans 🤔 🤣 If this wasn't an exhibition, I'd love to see Jake Paul knock Tyson out. Zero % chance either fighter gets knocked out, or even punished imho. It will be like the Roy Jones Jr/Tyson exhibition. 1 Quote

Not an excuse to bite an ear , but Holyfield had been head butting him before that. A lot of people are saying the fight is going to be rigged for Paul. Not sure where that info. Is coming from. 1 Quote

I understand your point, but it's a hard row to hoe finding a professional athlete (or comedian, or politician) that isn't a train wreck in their personal life. I won't cast the first stone. And I have the same suspicions you do. I suspect Mike CAN clap this guy in round 1....but I'm afraid he'll just dance with him for money instead. 2 Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted November 16, 2024 Super User Posted November 16, 2024 I fell asleep 2nd round of the first fight and woke up as Paul was going to the ring in the dually. I wish I just slept through it it’s opening day for deer here and I’ve gotta get up and go to the stand in 3 hours. Oh well 1 1 Quote
