Hey,

I picked up a rod by level rods, the NGX spinning model. I never heard of the company but apparently they have been around for a little while. All the reviews of this rod are very positive, and it seems to be made with solid components.

Does anyone have any experience with these rods or this model in particular?

I’ve never heard of them either. How much did it cost?

Pretty good price, $170 ...it is 30/40 toray carbon blank, fuji k frame alconite guides. It's a 7' medium moderate action rod. The people using them seem to only have good things to say

I guess these came out in the spring? Saw a fishing blog and some youtubers saying they really liked the rods they tried. Im interested to know the story behind the company. It seems its always the same brands that have dominated or existed for as long as i can remember, having some new people jump into the waters is interesting. Keep us updated on the rod please.

I saw that TW is carrying them. Read the description and the two reviews and looked at the pictures of the rods.  Looked like very nice rods especially for that price point. I may have to pull the trigger on one.

Yes better hurry they will probably be sold out quickly...with fuji alconite guides and a japanese carbon toray blank I was expecting over $200 price tag, it's a good price

Moderate action should make a nice crankbait/spinnerbait rod.

so the rod looks cool and it's really light. one thing I dont believe was mentioned online in the description though...it has micro guides! lol. well they might be medium micro guides but they are pretty small. it's a spinning model but it should be ok as i don't plan to use a leader, just braid on it's own. Will see how it feels to fish with this weekend 🎣

yeah exactly...I mostly plan to use crankbaits and inline spinners with it. I might get away with some jerkbaits too

There are a couple of half decent local shops that I can use for my rods but for a long time now finding a nice moderate action rod has been tuff to find. A lot of stocking fast and X fast stuff. Good find and good fishing.
