The dirty jig underspins have bad reviews on TW. Looking for 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0 in 1/4oz and 3/8 oz for swing impacts..

The 2 I'm using and the one I'm about to order;

Raid Libero - went big on a bogo sale a couple years ago.  Haven't been disappointed.

DJ TB mini - Except price and no half ounce, this is my favorite because of the hook.

Going to order the Northland Smelt; the half ounce 1/0 is a weight and hook that opens up more deepwater bottom crawling w/ 2-3 swimbaits.

If you're looking for the thinnest wire hooks; cool baits and great lakes finesse would be my choices.  I shore fish smallies near razor sharp mussel covered rocks that I need to lean on a little too much for those hooks.

I use Duo Realis Spin Hook. Even the smaller hooks are available up to 3/8th oz. Downside? A bit tougher to find in EVERY hook/weight combo.

I quite like them and they're a nice compact offering.

Oh and it bears mentioning again. The Decoy Slide Weight allows any hook with any underspin you want. Also allows you to tune the attitude of the bait when you stop reeling.

Finally, I often use the Decoy Zero Dan Flash in lieu of an underspin. Same idea but uses a chatterbait blade instead. Can change weights to suit.

I'm always curious why they don't make this in a 4/0.

I'll echo the Owner Flashy Swimmer gang.  Gave away my Spin Trix after a few outings using the FS.

I'm not sure if they are any better than the others but I use the Cool Baits.

Ive been looking at these. How does that bait keeper do with keitechs?

Coolbaits does pretty well with the Keitech Easy Shiner, it's a really good looking profile on it. It chews through Swing Impacts. The Owner Flashy Swimmer does better with Swing Impacts (and the Fat version) because of the screw lock.

I use the flashy swimmer year round in all conditions!  Sucker gets bit!  👍🏽😎🎣

Those of you who like the flashy swimmer, how important do you think the free swing of the blade is (connection to lead)? The reason I ask is I am about to modify a jig mold to pour my own but was going to cast the wire into the lead. Now I am rethinking it.

The free-er the swing, the more flash it tosses off....and that's the draw of it. You'd notice that all three I use have split rings at both ends to allow the blade more freedom.

Personally...I'd try a swivel at the blade end of the wire....that blade would really move with that.

The free hanging wire is replaceable, I have had them get beat up to the point where they get ripped off and need to be swapped.

There is a swivel on the blade end!

Tom

Blakemore Road Runner (horse head) was the 1st underspin followed by Sworming Hornet (fish head) both work good.

Owner Flashy swimmer extends the blade under the swimbait and is free to swing reducing bending the wire.

Adding a hook hanger to the underside of the mold you could duplicate the Owner Flashy Swimming kit.

I've never had a issue and all I throw are the Keitech 2.8 and 3.3.

I think that is what I am going to do. Thanks!

Owner Flashy Swimmer, specifically the 3/0 with a 4 inch Flashy Swimmer, has been lights out for me this year

But now I want to try out the Duo Realis one @RRocket mentioned.
