The 12” Magnum would be a true ribbon.
The other style in different sizes is more of a U shaped swimming worm cut.
I guess that would come down to your own definition

Really? They look the same to me. Not trying to argue, just trying to learn.

My answer was based on what I have.

The “hook” on the one in your picture to me is a swim worm as it does not have the true spirals of a ribbon.

Like I said, it could come down to an individuals definition of a true ribbon tail.

I still fish 10.5 - 15" ribbon tails during the warmer 6 months of the year.

I have a 7” ribbon worm on a 1/8 oz bullet weight on my deck 12 months out of the year. It’s been my most productive lure since Covid ramped up boating activities.

Zoom 10" Power Worm has been a staple for me for like 10 years now. As soon as they start pulling out after spawning I have one tied on through late summer T-rigged. One of my favorite bites too.

BPS- 7 1/2 ribbon tail, in various colors is my main staple here.

I used to fish Zoom Mag II’s a lot but haven’t recently. Not sure why. Might need to start back up.
