Super User F14A-B Posted October 15, 2024 Super User Posted October 15, 2024 C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) is a comet from the Oort clouddiscovered by the Purple Mountain Observatory in China on 9 January 2023 and independently found by ATLAS South Africa on 22 February 2023. So have any of y’all saw it, photographed it? Found it and shot it tonight. 3 1 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted October 15, 2024 Super User Posted October 15, 2024 Aware of it for a while now - but I'm not in a good location for star-gazing....it's not the light pollution, it's all the trees. With my current ankle situation, I can't walk far, and lugging my 6" Newtonian is definitely a no-go. Thanks for the pics though...I'll have to 'stargaze' vicariously through others for now. 1 Quote

Well I hope you heal up so you can do things you need to and love.. 1 Quote
