Super User ChrisD46 Posted October 4, 2024 Super User Posted October 4, 2024 I mainly use Keitech Swing Impact Fat swim baits for 2.8" , 3.3" & 3.8" swim bait lengths . For these sizes it would appear the Owner Flashy Swimmer 1/0 - 1/8th oz. and the 3/0 - 3/16th oz. should be the ones to reach for ... Your thoughts and experiences ? 1 Quote
Brian11719 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I use the 1/0 with 4" easy shiners and the 3/0 with 3.8" swim impact fats if that helps at all. Also use the 5/0 but I like a skinny dipper with that one...suppose you could go with a similarly sized keitech but the skinny dipper is an awesome bait to throw on a 5/0 flashy swimmer... Quote
bp_fowler Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I’m inclined to agree. In my experience the 1/0-1/8oz fits best with 3.3 and the 3/0-3/16 with 3.8 or similar sized paddle tails. The 3/0-3/16 IMO fits best on the Zoom Fluke (5in). Quote
RRocket Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 From Keitechs page: 2.8" - 1/0 3.3" - 1/0 3.8" - 2/0 4.3" - 3/0 4.8" - 3/0 or 4/0 5.8" - 6/0 6.8" - 8/0 7.8" - 10/0 or 12/0 I use the same sizes as you but much prefer the Duo Realis Spin Hook. The weight has a smaller profile and it comes in sizes 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0 and in weights from .9g (1/32) to 10g (3/8th). I do change the twist lock to a larger size, however. 1 Quote

RRocket Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Here's a 2.8" and a 3.3" Fat Impact on the Duo Realis Spin Hook. Also three, 3.5" OSP Dolive Shad on same hook. 1 Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted October 5, 2024 Super User Posted October 5, 2024 I use them a lot but only on a bare jig head. Do you guys do better with a blade vs no blade. If so what about a Pony head with a willow blade? Just thinking. Quote
