Siebert Outdoors Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 Just added some new custom color jigs in Hot Craw, Blaze Craw, and Sapphire Craw. I have also updated my Megalodon spinnerbaits. All of them now have Owner hooks and the 3/4 oz you can get a light wire or a heavier twisted wire. https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/categories/special-make-up-custom-colors?sortOption=descend_by_created_at 14 Quote

HawkeyeSmallie Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 If I didn't just eat breakfast, I think I'd down that Blaze Craw right now. That thing is PRETTY! 1 1 Quote

Mind if I ask a quick question but related to your chatterbaits? I was going to order some but wasn't sure which blade color to order. What do you recommend if I'm trying to imitate a bluegill? THANKS! Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted September 27, 2024 Super User Posted September 27, 2024 Another question... why does one spinnerbait have closed lie tie, and the other is open? Just curious. I don't have a strong preference, but tend to have better success with open when using braid. Quote

My favorite is either the Bluegill or Sunfish skirt with either a gold or black nickel blade. 1 Quote

I've been making them for a bit for a guy for Baccarac and the Amazon for Peacock bass. The loop keeps the line from going up the R bend. 2 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted September 27, 2024 Super User Posted September 27, 2024 Thanks, Mike. I don't have a lot of data, but I seem to have more helicopter-cast tangles with closed ties, but it could well be a function of other aspects of the configurations. A lot more variables involved (in how wind and drag affect flight) than I ever really considered before. Quote
woolleyfooley Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Blaze craw looks similar to bama craw, right? I have a bunch of bama craw jigs from you and love them. Quote
Super User Columbia Craw Posted September 28, 2024 Super User Posted September 28, 2024 You got me Mike. Order placed. 1 Quote

Super User Columbia Craw Posted September 30, 2024 Super User Posted September 30, 2024 The sapphire craw has colors that have a warmouth coloring to me. We’ll see. 1 Quote

Whichever one is the at the top. This one: That one does look similar to bama craw. Thanks again for posting the comparison! 1 Quote
