none of my old mojo's have this problem

None of my round-handle Mojos have this issue either - nor do my Victorys.

I have 4 Trigons that are 2+ years old, and after heavy use....they're fine.  No issues.  However, they are a little heavier than the original Mojos.  But I just got my hands on the new GXR series and they feel a lot like the original Mojo's.

If you're having any issues, bring it to St. Croix's attention, not here. They've always been good about honoring their warranty.
