I thought maybe Jones caught this one at Lake Menderchuck. 2 1 Quote

Has a knack for putting DDs in the boat, and for a not insignificant price, he'll put you on them, too. As noted in a different thread, I don't do numbers well....but I seem to recall that he has literally hundreds of 10# plus LMB catches. Seemed to get bored with that and now chases records. 2 Quote

He lives the most charmed Bass fishing life I could imagine. He deserves it though as he was the pioneer of FFS. A guy like you who also lives an amazingly charmed fishing life can relate I'm sure 😎 He either recently got back or is going to South Africa in the near future specifically looking for the next WR. thediscochef Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 he's fishing special waters for special fish and putting in a lot of hours to do it. He isn't lying about putting in 15-16 hour days on the regular when he's away from guiding. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it I think I'm just as impressed by @A-Jay on the regular if we're being real about it, if he had the sort of time JJ does he'd be showing out about the same or better 4 1 Quote
pdxfisher Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 That is a monster. There is a youtube of a guy with a 40+lb 5 fish limit from Dworshak. In that video he culled a few fish over 7lbs. Just a crazy fishery. 3 Quote
Rockhopper Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I must go here. Its only about a 6 hour dive. Quote
Super User Bird Posted September 19, 2024 Super User Posted September 19, 2024 Nothing surprising with Josh Jones. The guy puts huge fish in the boat consistently. Quote

And the Elites series can't come to the Northwest because it would be to long of a drive? They need to come up with a better excuse. Quote
HawkeyeSmallie Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Pretty sure I stumbled upon this guy's youtube channel just last weekend. Seemed like all he was doing was using FFS so I stopped watching. 1 Quote

You can be assured that all his content will have him expertly using ffs and be boring as heck to watch, but his success is undeniable. scott Quote
22RangerZ520R Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Dworshak. Josh and Joey Walton (Dworshak local) were butting heads on IG recently, fighting over spot poaching each other. I'd love to give it a try, but it's a 31hr haul for me so probably a no go. Quote
