I have been building rods for over 10 year.  The last 2 years I have been trying to find a blank that would be the ultimate jerkbait rod and I have come close but nothing compares to the Shimano Expride EX610MB.  Its the third factory rod I have bought in the last 5 years.  It sure is sweet especially paired with a Metanium 100 HG.  Also bought a Zodias ZDC70MHA from Sportsman Guide for the $109.99.  Its a nice rod but doesnt impress me like these Exprides do.  Ill have to buy 2 more of them at some point.

Yep! I strongly agree! I like my setup a lot!

Could just be my opinion but i think the Expride A is a better jerkbait rod than the B.

I feel it has a slightly more parabolic tip section than the B model. To me the B feels slightly more stiff.
