Any advice on how to catch bass in the duckweed when they won't come up on a frog.  I cover water, vary the tempo, concentrate on areas with activity or if I catch one but some days I'll spank em and some days very little even when I'm pretty sure there are bass under the duckweed (swirls, or bluegill popping, etc.).  I fish out of a small boat and must sit down so flipping and pitching is difficult (not impossible, but I was pretty good at it when I could stand and use a foot controlled motor).  Thank you for any advice and thoughts!

Try swimming a zoom ultravibe speed worm, 3/16 worm weight pegged and cast and retrieve like a spinnerbait or swimbait. Can kill it next to weed clumps, swim it just under the surface.  I prefer the magnum version over the standard. The mj rig with a senko style bait( screw lock a spinnerblade with a swivel  in the back of your t rigged stick worm and swim it through as well.

if its just floating duckweed (the stuff that looks kinda like green oatmeal floating on the surface) then a fluke worked just under it would be a good choice.
