It was 80 here this morning. Creatures seem to work best here shallow too, docks are good too. I use a little of weight as possible to have a slow erratic sink, sometimes weightless depending on the bait. They still have 7-11’s?? Think Minnesota lost the last one in the 80s good memories 1 Quote

You not only have favorite creature baits, you have lists of favorites in specific colors. And here I was proud to be trying a creature bait for my first time. Sigh. Fingers crossed I catch one. I'm rigged and ready, but only have 1.5 hours to fish due to other commitments. Off I go! Never used the mag game hog, but the standard sizes are great. I much prefer over a brushhog jr, the size is perfect and I think the plastic higher quality. Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted August 31, 2024 Super User Posted August 31, 2024 Most of the time around here the bass will bite craws better than creatures, but a creature will work if the conditions are right. Earlier this year when we had high water from all the rain, a Texas rigged Super Hog fished in the flooded grass was the ticket. 1 Quote
