Im currently in the market for a reel for the above mentioned.  im very interested in a shimano curado.  however, i completely devoid of any knowledge as to what specs a reel for this set up should have?  do i want it fast or slow?  even then, if the answer is 6.3:1 or so, i would switch out a citica i have and use the curado for something else.  what are your opinions?

Reasons why you want it to be fast:

1.- You are not going to crank the bait.

2.- Since you are not going to crank you need it to pick up the slack line as fast as it can so you can keep a tight line and in case of being needed, to set the hook faster.

3.- If you don 't get any hits when fishing to a target where the rest of the surroundings lack of importance you want your bait back ASAP so you can either move to another spot ot to make several more casts to that target.

4.- If you are flipping you need to get the fish out of cover ASAP or it will tangle in the cover.

Which one between a Citica and a Curado ? that 's up to you, but Citicas only come in one speed.
