Bass XL Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Hey all, I was going through some rod company's, and I found a nice deal. I am wanting a rod for casting plastics, but the rod is "3/8-1 oz" would that be good, or shoud I stick with 1/4 - 5-8? Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted January 25, 2007 Super User Posted January 25, 2007 If you want to flip and pitch jigs I would go with the 3/8-1oz. because that rod is rated a MH- H action rod, and you can fish a C-rig or aT- rig also.The 1/4 -5/8 rod could be a M or maybe MH. :-X Quote
