Super User ChrisD46 Posted August 24, 2024 Super User Posted August 24, 2024 I saw a video of a Yamamoto Psycho Dad Neko Rigged Craw which looked outstanding Neko rigged on the bottom ... This started me wondering what other craw shape soft plastics may prove successful Neko rigged and then dragged slowly or bounced along the bottom ? Ideally 3.5" or so in length with floating pincers and an even tube diameter suitable for an O-ring placement would be ideal ... Your thoughts and experiences with a Neko rigged craw ? Quote
Super User FishTank Posted August 25, 2024 Super User Posted August 25, 2024 I have two I use OSP Dolive Craw 3in and a Jackall Cover Craw 3in. Both bring them in but both rip pretty easy. I use an EWG head either a 1/16 or 1/8oz. Quote

I really like the 4 inch craw for delineating the small ones from the big ones. The 3 inch catches better numbers. Not a craw but a dolive gill with a neko hack crushes as well. 1 Quote

I will have to try the ring. I agree the 4in gets better quality fish. You should try The Hook Up Tackle's exclusive color, Jelly Craw. I used them as a jig trailer the last time I was out. I was intending to jig fish most of the day and I forgot to bring my usual bag of trailers. The DoLive Craws were all I had. I caught several keepers with it. The hits were viscous too. Quote
