I’ve been fishing a lot of deep coontail, milfoil, and cabbage lately, by pitching to clumps of grass or casting and working along the outside edge. I’ve been using Stealth Feider jigs but I’m nearly out and It seems like they’re out of stock everywhere. What other jigs do you recommend for what I’m doing? I was eyeing the Dirty Jigs flipping jig but I figured I’d ask here first.
Thanks everybody!

There are so many…….. for grass I like a slender jighead if youve got one, if not an arky still can usually accomplish nearly all things jig

Most all grass I’ve ever fished is shallow, I’ve had good luck with the sixth sense hybrid pulling thru stuff

@Pat Brown slays them on the @Siebert Outdoorsjigs if I recall correctly

Terry Oldham's Eye Max, followed closely by Hackney's Flourcarbon Jig.

That @Siebert Outdoors grass jig is a thing of beauty!  Hard to beat that or any of his swim jigs for fishing vegetation - his brush jig does pretty well as an all arounder that does well in grass as well.

Can't say enough good things about Mike's jigs and I've caught many giants on his stuff.

Don't sleep on that sniper finesse jig - been my best producer during the hottest months and early spring.

Do you ever use his tungsten jigs? They caught my eye but unfortunately there wasn’t 5/8oz which is what I mainly flip

I just use the 3/4 oz brush jig when I want a fast fall vertically!  Gets the job done and then some 😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Love that jig paired with a Strike King Scounbug (which might be the worse name of any bait ever made...unless somebody can tell me what the heck a scounbug is).

@August if you go dirty jigs, I like SC flippin jig for similar cover you're describing, 5/8-3/4oz seem to do best.

Dealing with milfoil up North, I highly recommend that you choose a jig with a vertical line tie.  Northstar Flip N Swim gets thru the thickest gunk as well and comes in heavier weights and has an eye to boot.

The eyemax looks perfect and comes in heavier weights too, and I'm also thinking the Nichols Buddy Gross Craft jig is worth consideration.
