Getting to be a whiff of fall round these parts too. Seems like it's coming a mite early.

Nice. I loaded cows for the auction this morning then cut and loaded limbs out of my yard. I'm pretty sure I lost 5 - 7 lbs in sweat. Fall weather! Must be nice.

I just took the pup outside and it's gray, wet, cool, and windy here. However, we do have one day forecast where it's supposed to reach 80 degrees.

ya know looking at some of your pics I think a Manns Baby 1- or KVD Wakebait would be killer in that extremely sparse grass where its 1 strand sticking up every now and then.

I use KVD wakebaits. I have two in my tiny tackle box, which shows how much I value them. I find they work when the noisier Whopper Plopper won't and vice versa.

Happens every year, don’t be fooled. It’ll run up into the mid 90s in late September and everyone will be so shocked that it happened (even tho it always does 😂)

Mid- nineties? Not here. We reach that temperature about one day every five years and thank goodness because Mainers are heat sissies.

Minnesota on rare occasion does see a day of 90 even into early September.

I don't think that will be happening this season but you never know.

I know it... and I don't care for it. Fall is my favorite season, I wish it'd last longer. I love the crispness of the air in the mornings and the warming of the sun as the day progresses.

One of my most memorable catches was on calm water with a Spit'n Image, working it slow through floating leaves in the fall. Probably 1 1/2 pound largemouth. Not huge but it was a beautiful day and spot.

@Bazoo, we seem to get very long fall seasons here, usually mid October until……. Spring 😂

Sounds pretty good. We don't get much in the way of winter up there, and I can fish year-round, but it does go into the 30-s-40s a lot during the day for a spell.
