Hello,

I am in the process of evaluating electrical connections on a 1990 Tracker boat which happens to also have the Eagle 1000 fish finder with a transducer and speed pickup pitot.  The fish finder itself powers up and shows its array of outputs but, the transducer and pitot do not seem to be providing a signal.  I know the age of the equipment is most likely an issue but, wondering if getting the original equipment functional is possible without breaking the bank?  I have purchased a Lowrance fish locator to install in replacement.

Electrical on a boat should cost more in time and sweat and getting into hard to reach places than it does money. Sure you may have to buy some things but if you’re like me you’ll drop the flashlight where you can’t reach it, drill a hole in the wrong spot, and probably cut your finger but you’ll only spend $40 bucks or so

I redid all the wiring in my boat except for the engine harness. Every time I turned around there was an electrical gremlin. Just old wiring. Got rid of the old fuse panel and went with the blade style. Now everything is isolated and labeled. Super easy to find any future problems. I wouldn’t be surprised if corrosion was not the causation of your problems. As for your graph I wouldn’t put any money into it. You can replace it with a working one that is newer for pretty cheap.
