jrm Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Fish finder died (RIP) come on 2000 bass tracker so I am out of touch with technology today. I just want depth & fish id not looking for graphs or anything else. Just basics on a low budget. Easy to use. Recommendations please Quote
Super User WRB Posted August 14, 2024 Super User Posted August 14, 2024 What is your budget? Fish ID is a gimmick. Take a look at eBay Lowrance for example has lot of choices around $200 including transducer. Tom 2 Quote

Tom To Tom's point above - I just sold a 3 year old Helix 7 including side imaging and transducer for $350. You could get without SI for less I'm sure. Great basic unit. 2 Quote
airshot Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Lots of guys always wanting to upgrade, search and look for an older model that folks want to sell. Make sure you get a thorough demo to be sure it works well. My Lawrence HDI is from 2013, bought used, more bells and whistles than I will ever use or need. But less than buying a budget fish finder. 1 Quote
