Haven't used either of these rods however, did just purchase a TD light & tough frog rod ( 7'4'' H). Can't make a judgement on how well it fishes, but I think it will be a good rod. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the weight of the Light & Tough. It's definitely a lightweight rod.

The Daiwa Light and Tough are definitely light in weight, but I haven't fished with one and can't comment on sensitivity.  The people that own one seem to be happy with their purchases from the reviews I've read.

I have a Daiwa TD-V701MHRB Team Daiwa-V 7' 0 paired with a Shimano Cardiff CDF100A; it's one of the best flipping stick I ever used.

I have the 6'3" MH worm model. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Haven't seen a 6'3" finesse model. Is that a spinning rod? If it is, I'd like to have one of those too. Great rods for the price.

Cheers,

I have 3 Daiwa L & T rods...................1 is a 6' 11' med-light, fast action for drop-shotting, 1 is 7' med-hvy fast action for wormin, and one is a 6'6" med fast action for whatever need arises. I love these rods! I love the feel of the rod as well as the handle........Well worth the price in my opinion........

What price????  Compared to some of the other sticks being bought on this page they're practically FREE :D  Absolutely great rods at a reasonable price.

I have a 7' TD-S cranking rod that I absolutely love.  I brought my Lew's speed spool in the store and put it on every cranking stick they had, Loomis, Lamiglas, St. Croix, Kistler, etc. and the TD-S was the most comfortable and balanced of the whole bunch.  I used it all last year and I love it!

I just bought the 6'6" TD-X dropshot rod for my girlfriend and she just raves about it.

Plus I just love the handles on Daiwa rods.
