pitchnboy Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Hey i have been look at A LOT rods...because im getting all new rods this year and upgrading!!!! i have been looking at the Daiwa Light and tough bass rods....also the Daiwa green sticks...anyone use either of these rods? - i like the 6'3'' finess Medium action Daiwa light and touch bass rod....anyone use it or own 1??? please let me no!!! pitch Quote
beze1124 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Haven't used either of these rods however, did just purchase a TD light & tough frog rod ( 7'4'' H). Can't make a judgement on how well it fishes, but I think it will be a good rod. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the weight of the Light & Tough. It's definitely a lightweight rod. Quote
The_Natural Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The Daiwa Light and Tough are definitely light in weight, but I haven't fished with one and can't comment on sensitivity. The people that own one seem to be happy with their purchases from the reviews I've read. Quote
pitchnboy Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 does anyone know where i could find reviews??? pitch Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 22, 2007 Super User Posted January 22, 2007 I have a Daiwa TD-V701MHRB Team Daiwa-V 7' 0 paired with a Shimano Cardiff CDF100A; it's one of the best flipping stick I ever used. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted January 22, 2007 Super User Posted January 22, 2007 I have the 6'3" MH worm model. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Haven't seen a 6'3" finesse model. Is that a spinning rod? If it is, I'd like to have one of those too. Great rods for the price. Cheers, GK Quote
Deuceu72 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I have 3 Daiwa L & T rods...................1 is a 6' 11' med-light, fast action for drop-shotting, 1 is 7' med-hvy fast action for wormin, and one is a 6'6" med fast action for whatever need arises. I love these rods! I love the feel of the rod as well as the handle........Well worth the price in my opinion........ Quote
jdw174 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Well worth the price in my opinion........ What price???? Compared to some of the other sticks being bought on this page they're practically FREE Absolutely great rods at a reasonable price. Quote

Infidel. Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I have a 7' TD-S cranking rod that I absolutely love. I brought my Lew's speed spool in the store and put it on every cranking stick they had, Loomis, Lamiglas, St. Croix, Kistler, etc. and the TD-S was the most comfortable and balanced of the whole bunch. I used it all last year and I love it! I just bought the 6'6" TD-X dropshot rod for my girlfriend and she just raves about it. Plus I just love the handles on Daiwa rods. Quote
pitchnboy Posted January 23, 2007 Author Posted January 23, 2007 thanks guys!!!! this really helped me a lot because i was stressing A LOT over what rod....now im relieved and i think i can go on!!! pitch Quote
