Randomly, my spinning reel just started spinning backwards. It has no anti reversal switch for as far as I can see and it did not normally do this. Does anyone have any solutions to fix this?

Sounds like the AR bearing got contaminated with grease/oil. If it's still under warranty, I'd return it...otherwise send it in to be repaired. Our own DVT (see link in right-hand list of sponsors) can get it fixed for you.

Like MN said the AR bearing has failed.  If it's under warrantee send it back if not take it apart and clean the AR bearing, no oil or grease.

The anti-reverse clutch/ roller bearing is easy to replace. Just make sure you put the new one on correctly and not backward. The clutch on the reel I use for jerk baiting takes a lot of impact and I’ve replaced it before. I now even carry a spare.
