How have I not seen a pike yet ???

More pike when they fished Mississquoi bay.  Robertson looks like he's on a foot valve pattern also.  At one time, you could go from one little floating bleach bottle to another and catch fish on a lot of them.

Robert Gee is amazing, can’t fathom his being from Knoxville!

If pinging a minnow is in play, Robert Gee is definitely going to be in contention.   I've never seen him do well without that technique though.

Toledo Bend, Smith Lake, and Champlain have all been great derbies for him.

Well at least I’ll have something to check in on during work tommorow. Pretty tight top ten.

Pike on Champlain have been getting destroyed for years by ice fisherman (just throwing them on the ice), pike shooting (with a gun) and bow fishing.   DNR is aware of the pike being wiped out.  Tench eat their nests too.  It's bad up here for pike.

Its bad here too.  But a different type of bad.  Way too many small ones.

I remember when the state of Indiana put in Tiger musky I think in Patoka res. In the late 70’s they grew quite large and a lot of people caught them. The lake opened up in 1980. Thankfully they couldn’t reproduce and after about 10 years you never heard about them anymore..

That's a andvantage to stocking tiger muskies.  They can't naturally reproduce, so if you want them removed, eventually mother nature will just run its course.

Why is that I wonder? Why can’t they reproduce?

It's like a horse/donkey cross - a mule. Northerns and Muskie are close enough that they can interbreed, but just far enough that the progeny is sterile.

He's posted video of the accident on FB and Tiktok.  Scary stuff.

I am not on either one of those.  Can you post the video here?

I know it’s counterintuitive but I’ve often wondered if a seatbelt would be helpful.. on these boats that rarely capsize.. but idk..

I can’t narrow it down anymore than that..

I don’t usually find weight-ins very interesting but this one will be good.

Do you think anyone outside of the top 3 could be sandbagging and be in contention?

What a trainwreck BASS's IT team is.....half the time these weigh ins are screwed up

This sucks.

BASS needs to steal away MLFs production team. Gee wiz. It's like UHF versus cable. You'd need to be born in the 60s to get that reference.🙃
