Small mouth Guntersville bank help!!! Please!

Trying to land my first small mouth and will be an hour away from Guntersville in a couple weeks.  Limited time but I am going to wet a line.  Unfortunately need a public spot and would love to land my first smallie.  Any suggestions?

There are smallmouth in Guntersville but it’s not known as a great smallmouth lake.   I’ve fished Guntersville a lot and never caught a smallmouth.  You would probably have a better chance the further up river you go where you’re fishing the river instead of the lake.
