nso123 Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 I have a Helix 10 G2N that I would like to update to a new map card. It appears that the new Lakemaster cards are not compatible with the G2N models. The new Navionics cards do look like they are compatible. Am I missing anything, or is the Navionics card going to be the only way to have the latest maps? Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted July 25, 2024 Super User Posted July 25, 2024 You could buy a legacy LakeMaster card if you can find one or you can buy and download the data to your own card at the link below. https://chartselect.humminbird.com/legacy 1 Quote

I mainly fish Chickamauga and Nickajack, so those are my main concern in finding the best maps. Quote
Super User Solution Tennessee Boy Posted July 25, 2024 Super User Solution Posted July 25, 2024 I would prefer the older LakeMaster maps over Navionics. The LakeMaster maps of the Tennessee river are excellent. I have the old and new versions. The update is more about the way the maps are displayed on the screen than updated contour lines. 1 Quote

That’s exactly what I was looking for. Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted July 25, 2024 Super User Posted July 25, 2024 They added Tim’s Ford to the latest LakeMaster. The legacy maps don’t have it. I’m pretty sure Navionics has it. That’s something to consider if you fish that lake. Quote

Chickamauga, Nickajack, and Guntersville are my primary areas that I want the better mapping for. 1 Quote
