Well I have to say that All Star ended up coming through for me on the broken rod.  One of the board members here was INSTRUMENTAL in making it happen.  My complete gratitude to JT Bagwell for helping me out.

Again, I am impressed with the members of this board and all of the help I've received here.  Thanks JT, thanks All Star, and a big thanks to BassResource.  :D

Glad to hear it!  Sorry it became an ordeal but glad they stepped up.

They are still a good bunch of people and a local favorite of mine, regardless of current ownership.

Well I will continue to buy their rods.  I really like their product as well.

No, I'm in central Tx.  All Star is in Houston...  and only the newer "Classic" ($40) rods are imported.

I wish they still offered blanks... they have a couple that I really like.

I've got a couple Allstars myself and am considering upgrading a couple of my technique specifics rods to TAS rods in the future. Love'em.

I am glad everything worked out for you (I knew it would)  :D.

I am also glad that I could be of some assistance.

Take Care,
