I have seen a lot of companies market their rods for use with specific baits, ie crankbaits, frogs, chatterbaits, texas rigs, etc., but I have been surprised no companies have marketed reels like that. For instance, why not make a high drag shallow spool and market it for pitching and flipping? As a consumer I like having reels that can do multiple things, I am just surprised no company has jumped on this from a marketing perspective. Thoughts?

It's happened before with the Daiwa Flip and Pitch Tatula being a recent example.  It's just not that common with bass reels.  You will see specially "bay jigging" or "jigging" reels and hard rock fish variants like the Daiwa HRF and Shimano Engetsu reels.

Lews has already done that.

Lews SLP is what you describe.  The flip and pitch was another.

Some of the reels on the market are pitched to certain angling types as well.  BFS is the obvious one.  Deep narrow spools are marketed for long casting applications like cranking.

I guess I need to spend more time shopping since I missed it 😂

They have the lews skip and pitch. They also have the custom lite shallow spool. And they have the bb1 for.crank baits and long casts.

Ardent has or had a Denny brauer flipping reel with a shallow spool and a fixed centered Line guide and no levelwind

The revo winch and Daiwa crazy cranker fall into that category as deep cranking reels. You have bfs models in some lineups, the Daiwa long cast zillions for heavy baits come to mind. In the broader picture I think versatility is more of a concern for reels than technique specific niche reels.
