Anything missing from my lineup?

I feel like I’m getting addicted to wanting to buy fishing gear…even though I don’t fish a ton. I’m trying to determine if there’s anything I need in my lineup or if I’m just wasting money acquiring anything else at this point. Currently I have:

 

Daiwa AIRDX medium rod 7’ (my favorite rod btw) paired with a Daiwa Zillion baitcaster

 

Dobyn’s Fury 7’ Medium Heavy that has a Zebco Bullet on it (considering getting a baitcaster to put in it…but it’s nice having a push button for ease of use if the kid comes out with me or a friend goes out with me that’s not used to a baitcast)

 

Okuma Celilo 6’6” ultralight with Daiwa Revros LT 1000

 

Part of me is really itching to buy a Tatula XT rod because they look nice and I’ve heard a lot of great things about them. But I’m not sure what I’d really do with it or if I have the need for it. 
 

I wouldn’t mind having a second spinning reel…maybe in a light powered rod. But I’m not sure if that’s necessary either. Like I said, I feel like I’m getting an addiction to acquiring new gear even though I’m not sure I really have a use case for it. Is there anything in my lineup you think I should definitely tweak or upgrade? Thanks.

You need a medium lenght ( 6' 6'' or better 7') medium action spinning rod that will be a general porpose spinning rod for throwing shakey worms, weightless senkos or ned rigs.

Oh I’ve just been throwing those on my baitcaster on the medium AirdX rod I have. What’s wrong with throwing those on a baitcast?

If it's working for you - there's nothing wrong with it...Aird X is a good rod, I still have two in my arsenal that I use.

I would sample a higher end rod to pair with your zillion. 
 

Grab a dedicated rod for your favorite technique. Love throwing jigs? Megabass Orochi Brailist, IMX pro JWR, or Tatula Elite. 
 

Otherwise I’d fill out your lineup with a heavy powered rod to cover heavier baits and frogging. Once the mats come up in late summer getting some big frog blowups will be a blast.

Oh I’d love to use frogs and poppers. I have some in my bag but I can’t find any ponds or lakes around here with vegetation where those techniques seem to come in play

A Heavy power casting setup with braided line for frogging and pitching to targets in cover, if these techniques are appropriate for your area.

In fishing, there is nothing wrong with anything... just personnal preferences.

Listen up Dude!  You need at least another 40 combos before you can consider yourself getting addicted to fishing gear. 

 

Kidding aside, based on what you've said so far, I don't think you need a Heavy power rod unless the weight of your lures requires a rod of that power.  Visited Florida and fished in the lily pads for years with MH rods.  Zero problems.  Wasn't until I decided to dedicate a rod to frogs that I shipped a Heavy power rod down there.

 

A MH rod is very versatile.  Doesn't hurt to have several.  I'd include a Moderate action rod (Regular for Daiwa).  From the rods you have and are looking at, I don't feel like suggesting $200 and $300 rods is going to be of any help to you.  Unless you are willing to up your budget???

 

I will say this from experience.  If you are going to get addicted, then buy a few higher priced rods instead of a stable of low priced rods.  It's much easier to select which rods for that day's use if you have 10 good ones versus 60 low to mid-priced rods.
