Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted July 9, 2024 Global Moderator Posted July 9, 2024 First impressions, they’re nice looking lures, nice paint jobs, and super sharp VMC hooks. What else would you expect coming from a Japanese designer? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 9, 2024 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 9, 2024 I just got mine, and they're pretty slick! 1 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted July 9, 2024 Global Moderator Posted July 9, 2024 I got this one too Glenn, can’t wait to try it . My buddy always wears me out with a fire tiger popper! Haha. Quote
Bazoo Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Alright, so whats everyone opinion on them? I saw Glenn's post where he was using the crankbait. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted August 5, 2024 Author Global Moderator Posted August 5, 2024 @Bazoo The crank and lipless have both produced for me. 4 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 8, 2024 Global Moderator Posted August 8, 2024 They're very nice baits. The paint jobs hold up well and they come with quality hardware. I was afraid they were going to be on par with the quality of most baits I've got from Aliexpress but these are much nicer and perform much better. I'm not sure if my squarebills have circuit board lips, but they look like they do. 3 1 Quote
buckmaster27012 Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 lets hear some on the water reviews of jerkbait and topwater? they are alot cheaper than others. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted August 18, 2024 Author Global Moderator Posted August 18, 2024 @buckmaster27012 no one the water reviews yet from me. I have the Spook style bait. I was out last week fishing a steep drop off. Behind me, a large flat. I figured the time I was fishing it they would’ve been deep by then. Well I was wrong! The skunk was strong when I looked over and saw a few big green and brown bass swimming by me heading back out towards the deep. Crappy weather this weekend has kept me off the water. I’ll give it a shot next weekend. I will say they’re all nice looking baits and I’ve had good luck with the deep diver. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 18, 2024 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 18, 2024 I tried the walking bait and topwater Splash popper yesterday, then a frog, buzzbait, spinnerbait, and their lipless crankbait without a bite. Then I went back through the same area with jigs, T-rigged plastics, Senkos, and tubes and picked up 15. The fish wanted a vertical presentation. Oh well. I'll try again later. But I will say these baits sure fish well. They throw far and are easy to work. I was able to get a very fast walk-the-dog cadence with ease, for example. 1 Quote
bloom Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 just got some of their poppers and fished them a little this weekend. did not catch anything on any topwater so results don't matter. The 8139 with tail propeller and Colorado blade dangling between the hooks really looked good in the water, could slow crank it with the prop and blade kicking and it would give a nice pop with a twitch. Got an 8088 popper I wish I chose a bigger one but sometimes a little change in size is good. Both the 8088 and splash popper performed very well, unfortunately no fish were harmed in the testing of these baits. 2 Quote

The topwater I have is very nice. It walks and spits without moving much at all. Only got one bite on it so far but he blasted it. Haven't fished the jerkbait yet but I might give it a shot next weekend after seeing how clear the smallmouth lake was yesterday. Mrs. Blue wants to go back after kicking my butt out there yesterday and see if she can repeat her success. 1 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted September 27, 2024 Super User Posted September 27, 2024 Have not fished them yet. Price is good and they seem to be decent quality, if a little too 'glossy'. When I ordered, I didn't realize they were coming from China, so I was a bit surprised at first about the long shipping time. I am not sure it would have made a difference in my decision to order, but I would have liked the web site to mention where they are made. I applaud that they have good designers in house, but I didn't get any of unique design; just apparent knock offs. Anyway, not trying to disparage Besotted, just adding some context that I would have appreciated. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted September 27, 2024 Super User Posted September 27, 2024 I bought a couple. They look great but I have only caught two fish with them so far. They did not produce liked I hoped but I'm not giving up on them yet. They look great in the water and the action on them looks perfect. Quote
