Moved to the Houston area in July 2019. A month later we were treated to TS Imelda. Tons of rain but not much wind. Beryl is now here. It’s still a Cat 1 hurricane with gusts up to 100 mph. I lived through some decent tropical storms in my many years in Maryland (Agnes in ‘72 for sure), but I think this is our first true hurricane.

Glad I got my generator up and running. Bought it for Isabel in 2003. Lights never flickered lol.

Been there, done that, didn't get a t-shirt!

The storm will move through quickly, the after math will hang around awhile.

Stay safe 😉

The track of this thing is pretty wild. Started off in the east Atlantic, through the southern Caribbean, north ward to Texas, and is now moving northeast up to the eastern Great Lakes.

Dry and 100 degrees on the west coast.  No humidity either.  :)

The remnants of it will be here shortly. Supposed to get 1-3” of rain by the time it’s all done.
