Bandersnatch Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 What do you guys think about northlands new mullet jig compared to the chicken jig? Quote
PaulVE64 Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 I like it, as a panfish imatator it holds its shape while moving and has a nice flow. For shallow water it is better 1 Quote

PaulVE64 Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Yes, but to be clear one is a big minnow and the other is a panfish. So I'm using one in open water and the other near weeds. Quote
softwateronly Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 The chicken bite is up there with one of the best there is. The outkast 5/8oz bluegill has been best on my water, I hope the northland is just as good because that crappie color will kill on my water. scott 1 Quote
Pogues2300 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 I bought two last fall and fished it per Seth Feider instruction and had a blast. Biggest was 5.4 for a tiny metro lake in Minnesota not bad…. Then the pike took them away 😢 lol. I actually kinda forgot about the chicken! Thanks 1 Quote
