JigNBig Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 what advantages does this line have over regular triline long cast mono? Quote
dave Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I believe it is supposed to be a smaller diameter and have less stretch. Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted January 16, 2007 Super User Posted January 16, 2007 more sensative.i used it for a season and liked it a lot.other guys i know hated it. Quote
JigNBig Posted January 16, 2007 Author Posted January 16, 2007 i bought some in 12 lb test. it seems to backlash alot more than others i have used. im using it for sightfishing with a 3/8 oz tungsten weight and a strike king flipping tube in white/with blood at the end. those things are amazing im thinkin about just stocking up on nothing but strike king baits and maybe some zoom stuff too. Michael H Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I tried it in 12lb for a while and it casted nice and was pretty sensative. But it had no abrasive resistince at all. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 16, 2007 Super User Posted January 16, 2007 A few years back, I read something quite interesting about Trilene Sensation, something that gave me pause. A tire-kicker at the Berkley plant was interviewing a Berkley representative. The rep admitted on the q.t. that according to Berkley's rigorous inhouse line tests, "Sensation" is Berkley's finest line, even better than XT and Big Game. Berkley would never publicly make that statement as it would only downplay the hype and sale of their other lines. Roger Quote
