PFD and be gentle with the bass. No flipping or tossing them back into the water. Disrespect bass twice and you'll never fish with me again.

No whining. If you're cold and wet, I'm also cold and wet, so complaining about the weather tells me nothing I don't already know.

If you have a 30-bass morning, thank me for paddling you and putting you on bass.

If we're going into the wilderness, pay your way: half of gas, lodging on the way, bait, etc. And do, at the very least, one of these: Volunteer to clean the fish, cook the fish, or do the dishes.

I love to cook.  But I'm not a big fan of eating LMB.  I mean, I'll eat it, but it's far from my favorite.  I grew up on crappie and ocean fish, so LMB and catfish are pretty far down my list of favorite foods.

Though I went fishing with a guy once who somehow had a great recipe for LMB.  But, he was super secretive about it.  He wouldn't let me near the kitchen to see his secret.  He wouldn't even let me clean the kitchen!  The one time I actually wanted to do the dishes, I was denied!

Eating Bass is Barbaric.  Don't kill what you love.

Voracious reader - there are stories out there that use the term and I looked it up when I first came across it about 55 years go...and it stuck with me.

My only rule is don't offer to help get the boat ready or launch.  I can make enough mistakes myself without help.

I am the same way, minus the mistakes.

I just prefer to follow my routine without interference or distraction.

This is me. I am a terrible creature of habit and have to do things in a particular order while I am getting the boat ready to launch.
