To those of you who use Reel Magic on your lines, how often do you spray it on? Everytime before you fish?? More than once a day? When the line starts to 'act up'? Every other trip?

I am using Yozuri hybrid and I use it whenever my line 'acts up'. Just curious as to what others do.

Thanks

When spooling new line, every 15 cranks so that most of the line gets an initial coating. I then spray the interior spool after the first cast, and the exterior line when retrieved. I then use it occasionally on other outings.

I like it, a lot!

I use it all the time. Mostly on my fourocarbon poly lines, P-Line florocrear/Yo-zuri Hybrid, but I use it on all my lines, except braid

I I spray it on the spool every 10-15 reel turns when spooling up. then when i am Fishing i spray it on every 1/2 hour or so. I'll cast out spray it on the line left in the spool, then after I reel in I spray it on the spool again. The line will cast way better and is so much more workable.

Also after a fishing trip, If I have a lot of line twist. I have a trick to help get it out.

I get real good swivels.

I tie some line to my mail box,

then tie the swivel to that line.

Tie the line that is twisted to the other end of the swivel.

spray the spool with reel magic.

back up as far as you can , letting line out( that is why I use my mail box, I can back down my drive way and back yard and let all my line out)

stop. I spray the line left over, if none I spray the spool.

Stay where you are and reel some line in till tight.

Ok know pull the line real tight, but not breaking it, maybe making a step or two back.

wait a minute or so.

reel your line in,keep it tight, aplying reel magic ever 10-15 turns of the reel.

The line will not lose all of its twist, but I will be greatly reduced.
