kschultz76 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Hey all I’ve not been active here in awhile and had slowed down my fishing the past few years. Life, family, work and all that. I’ve finally been able to start getting back into it and have a new Tracker Pro Team 175TXW on its way to me. I’m planning to install a Garmin Echomap UHD 93sv at the bow and before I purchase a mount wanted to see if I could get some info or feedback from other 175 owners. I’m looking at a fixed deck mount like the Bass Fishin Electronics single unit angled mount, Procise Outdoors Dek It, or the BPS Lockdown adjustable deck mount. What I don’t know is what one will fit best without interfering with the trolling motor plug or the front of the recessed TM pedal tray. I also want to be careful that nothing sticks up so high with the Garmin gimbal bracket to interfere with the cover. Any intel fellow owners could give me on the height of the aluminum foredeck from the casting deck at the front of the TM pedal tray and the width of the TM pedal tray at its widest around the cup holders would be much appreciated. Oh and the approx height of the TM plug from the deck too. Love to hear and see what others have done as well. I’ve Google images searched till my eyes were crossed but haven’t been able to find much out there. I'm hoping the Bass Fishin Electronics angled mount will clear the cup holders, give me room to reach under it for the TM plug and trim switch, without being a problem for the cover. If none of what I’m looking at will work I can go to plan B with a RAM mount or similar. Thanks in advance! Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted June 24, 2024 Super User Posted June 24, 2024 Do you have a picture of your front deck? I don't have a Tracker, so I Googled images also, with no luck. I do have a Lowe 175 and the bow looks similar to what I did see. I have my 93 SV bracket bolted right to the raised flat are of the bow, to right of TM. Cover fits perfect. Only potential drawback is climbing off bow onto trailer. Might also ask ask tinboats or *** Quote
Woody B Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Not the best picture. I've got my 9 inch Lowrance mounted on the bow of my Tracker Classic XL with the factory bracket. It's high enough when fishing but not so high that it blocks my vision when I'm going down the lake. Quote
Super User gim Posted June 24, 2024 Super User Posted June 24, 2024 @Woody B I hope you don't sit on the seat pedestal as is... 3 Quote

nso123 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 I used a Baldwin Iron Works mount on mine to mount a 93SV. I was going to straddle the cup holders, but decided to mount it on the little angled section just in front of the cup holder area. As for the Garmin mount hitting your cover, I stick a piece of pool noodle over the mount and it won’t rub on the cover. I can get pics if you are interested. Quote
LonnieP Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 I have a Garmin 93 Echomap mounted with a Panther Marine mount on my 175. It does block the cup holder though. Quote
T.J. Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Here is my 2020 TXW with a 93sv. I went with a ram mount to the side so I would have easy access to the trim switch and tools and cup holder. The new models have a slightly different recessed tray I believe. I rotate the mount down parallel with deck if I put the cover on. Quote

If you find a spare min I’d love to see a picture of it. I’ve looked at the Baldwin mounts, actually considering the 8” or 5” adjustable mount they have that’s similar to the BPS one. I think the 8” would get me over the plug and tilted back to not be in the way of the cover. Just wasn’t sure it was wide enough. Considered if I could mount on that angled section just didn’t know if it would be sturdy enough. 2 hours ago, LonnieP said: I have a Garmin 93 Echomap mounted with a Panther Marine mount on my 175. The newer model I’ve ordered has a different foot pedal tray with a wider double cup holder. 43 minutes ago, T.J. said: Here is my 2020 TXW with a 93sv. I am strongly considering the RAM because it’s so easy to move out of the way, and to adjust placement. Just afraid I’ll always be fussing with it trying to get it set in the “perfect” spot. I also thought about the RAM surface mount swingarm mount that would offset it from the cup holders but let me swing it over to be centered on the pedal tray. Hoping to get a good enough idea that I have the mount here and ready to install when I pick up the boat. Here’s the best photo I have of the foot pedal tray setup the boat I have ordered: Quote
nso123 Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 I’ll get a pic for you tomorrow. The mount comes with some heavy duty screws that seem to have it mounted sturdy. Quote

Looks like mounting on that angled part works well. Is that an Ultrex TM? Any problems with cover fitting with it mounted on the bow? Quote

I have heard of people having to get a pocket sewn into the factory cover to clear an Ultrex. Quote
