Sure!

If the correct weight is used for the conditions and placed at the right place and presented appropriately they can be more deadly than used weightless every time.

You can certainly crimp a split shot to a hook methinks 😎🎣

I read about this trick here and I'm about to fish a few different plastics including flukes on this style of weighted hook today.  I'll let ya know how it goes!

 

Might not need to buy keel weighted hooks anymore if this is a deal!
