Anyone have any experience with a bait that no matter what you do you can't catch fish on? Like I've bought a few booyah spinnerbaits that I personally cant do anything with they wont run right I've tuned them ever possible way and half the time the blades won't turn, I gave those away and I think I'll just stick to my Glamor Shads.

I'm with fisherboy, although I think I have caught one on a Rat-L-Trap.

Crankbaits are my lowest baits on the list. Oh, I can catch some fish on them, but for me, its rarely good ones. Catt, tube baits !!! Tubes are my no. one producer here in MD and PA for both green and brown bass. Maybe its regional thing. I would say its one of the most used baits here. I guess things are different in Texas. A 4" Black Neon or Junebug tube, 1/8oz pegged bullet wt flipped and pitched for largemouth is awesome here. Its a given for smallies but, is fantastic for green bass as well. I guess its kind of like spinnerbaits in different regions. I hear guys in hear that say they can't catch fish on spinnerbaits, and for me, its one of my top producers as well. Oh well, different parts of the country are, well, so different. :P

I know, and so should y'all that Mr 4Biz is living up to his mookness. (lying through his teeth to keep you from using his big bass killer)

but ALL of the baits listed are killers.

Can't catch bass on a rat'Ltrap???????????

Are you guys applying to MIT (mook in training?)

Anyway, that berkley blade dancer, y'know the one lure that Al Lindner says will replace every lure in your tackle box?   Well, I'll bet if you peek into his tackle box when he's fishing off camera you'll find 50 different lures NONE of which will be a blade dancer - total POS

I do not understand, give them the three main food groups and still not a bite. Maybe if they were towed behind T-rig's bait they would be more productive.

Catt, I think you are either trying to get us all riled up or just like being different.  In the last month or two we've learned you don't like senko's or tubes.  What gives :P

Hey T-rig is that lure generated from all the "Russian" submarine sightings in the bays over there?

I ahven't ever caught any bass on Licorice. To those of you thinking what the heck I just figured I'd try it and even if it don't work for bass it will work for carp and catfish. I tried riggin it wacky style it was a piece about 4 in long and it was black but it didn't get much time on the hook cause it rips off about every third cast or so because I had to snap cast it cause we was in the crick.

Also, we don't tell people that they are full of "chit" on this forum.  Get the facts before posting something like that again.  Just an FYI

I love fishing swimbaits, and have caught fish on virtually every swimbait on the market except one, storm. The only fish I ever caught on a storm swimbait was an 8 inch dink that hit the 3 inch shad colored model.

As for tubes they are one of the most versatile baits out there. I have caught a crapload of bass on them in all seasons. You may not be fishing them correctly. You can fish them to act like a dying shad, or a crawfish (drag it along the bottom). You can work them fast or slow, at any depth, on a T-rig, C-rig, and on a drop shot. They will catch hefty bass in dense cover or fat bronzebacks it sparse cover. Last november I was fishing a 3 and 1/2 inch green tube in a laydown and caught a nine incher. 3 casts later I caught a five pounder. That shows you it catches all sizes of fish.

Also about the bladedancer,  I recieved one as a gift through a magazine subscription. I gave it to my younger cousin and he caught three average sized smallmouth with it. That doesn't mean it is effective though, because my dad and I caught 30 average sized smallmouth that same day with tubes and spider grubs.

Lastly, we can't have a topic about horrible lures without mentioning the helicopter lure, better luck next time Roland.
