I'm looking for a silent square bill that will run 6-8ft. deep in the 1/2oz. and under $15 price range.  Anyone?

Deps 3.0. Over your price range but if you can get it from a JDM site, it's not too bad. I caught several on the Sexy Shad color last year. It is a big heavy bait and gets down deep if you burn it but it comes through wood and cover amazingly well. I have yet to get snagged with it. It just bounces around.
