Should I remove the screw sinker weights from the stick baits if I'm using Buckeye Flicket Lure

This is probably a lame question, but I am just starting to use a Buckeye Flicket lure and was wondering:

Should I or should I not, insert  weights (like Gambit screw sinkers straight), or should I remove them from the head of the lures?  would make a big difference when casting, but might prevent the "action" from occurring on the way down to the bottom.

So you have stick baits that come with screw weights already in them, and you are gonna be using them on the FlickIt? If I am understanding that right, then yes, you should remove the screw in weight. If you have the screw weight in one end, and the FlickIt in the other end, you will have zero action. The FlickIt will likely be heavier, so even though the stick bait will fall the correct way, the screw weight will weigh down the back end so the stick bait will just fall over and wouldn’t have an “shimmy” or tail action.

Buckeye Flick-It is a knock off Flick Shaky jig and doesn’t use a Neko weight

Plus I’m thinking that the Buckeye brand is lead vs tungsten in the Jackall  brand..

It's a jig head that’s used primarily with Jackall’s flick shake worm. It’s a similar tactic as the wacky senko presentation.. look it up for more bait monkey ideals 😂
