Highest rate of fatal car accidents in the nation.Top five in homicides, carjackings, armed robberies and rape.

Regardless of where you live, there is always somewhere worse unless you reside in Memphis.

Well, not in traffic or road conditions.  Seattle is 3rd worse traffic, next to New York and LA; and Washington state has the worst roads and bridges in America.

And crime rate?  If Memphis wins, then Seattle is 2nd.  And it for sure wins the homeless title.  I'm pretty sure Western WA is the leader in stolen cars too (just under 100 per day average).  The crime and traffic are so bad in Seattle that I refuse to go there anymore.

Not stats to be proud of.

I suspect most of the crime in Memphis is isolated in small areas.   83% of US cities have lower crime rates than Charlotte NC (near me).  Most of Charlotte is OK though.

New york city is implementing a surcharge to drive in the city during certain times of the day, is seattle doing this or any other states?

No, they're not that organized.  They've been through 2 mayors, 3 chiefs of police (looking for a fourth one now), and replaced the entire city council after the whole "chop" and "defund the police" debacle four years ago.  Really it's more chaos than ever before.

Plus the police force lost about half the force in 2020 from everyone quitting (see above), and they haven't been able to fill open positions since.  Hence all the crime and homeless camps.

The 2020 mayor, police chief, and city council thoroughly screwed and ruined Seattle.  Even though they've all been ousted, it will take decades to recover, if at all.
