redmeansdistortion Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 I use those same baits and run the #0.8 YGK X-braid. Works great! 2 Quote
Super User Solution FishTank Posted May 31, 2024 Super User Solution Posted May 31, 2024 Here is their website. https://xbraidygk.jp/ Here are the ones I have tried..... Ohdragon - Sinking braid. My favorite for Ned Rigs on spinning gear but not as abrasion resistant as others OLLTOLOS PE WX8P-1 - Great jig line. Slick and easy to cast. Only available in heavy sizes. Upgrade - Great all around line. I have used it on both spinning and casting Zone Finesse - Lighter, softer line. Great for BFS gear but it can be finicky Super Jigman - Good all around line. Slightly slicker than Upgrade Unless you're fishing heavy cover (weeds and grass), I would use leader on all of these lines. 1 1 Quote

If there are a lot of reviews and they're good, it's probably safe to assume the line is authentic. Where in Canada are you? If you're in SW Ontario, I'm right across the river in Wyandotte. I could give you a hand. Quote

Super User FishTank Posted June 1, 2024 Super User Posted June 1, 2024 @Elezen Freshwater. A lot of their lines are designed for salt but work fine in freshwater. 1 Quote

Thank i bought a spool of 300m 0.8 for my vanquish 2023 C3000XG will receive both together (might need to add quite a lot of mono backing to fill it up since it fit 400m of size 1 pe) 1 Quote

It should be a blast. I have the C2500S and it has been just a pleasure to fish. The drag is second to none. It's probably the best spinning reel ever made. I like it better than the Stellas I have tried (don't own one). 400m of PE #1 is a lot of line. I would definitely put some backing on it. What rod are you putting it on? Quote
