Super User MN Fisher Posted May 30, 2024 Super User Posted May 30, 2024 Read this Ya - it's only one technique, but it's a very good start. Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted May 31, 2024 Super User Posted May 31, 2024 If you can look at the water column in three sections. Surface, middle, and bottom. Pick a couple of lures for each section. Also get some bullet weights and worm hooks for your soft plastic baits. Search through the Bass Resource video section. Glen has a good video outlining what you need to get started. I say fish as much as you can. Eventually, you'll find your own thing, and learn what works best on your lakes and ponds. Have fun, and good luck out there. Quote

OmegaDPW Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Don't forget a couple different sizes of Beetle Spins. That always keeps the action going when the bass bite slows down, especially in the beginner stages. You'll still be learning how to feel a bite, feel what weeds and stumps are underwater and practice setting the hook. That, and in my unpressured ponds, I've caught some good sized bass on them. Super User king fisher Posted May 31, 2024 Super User Posted May 31, 2024 The few basic lures mention here are not only all you need for a beginner box, but is all you would ever need. Buy a small box a few of the lures already mentioned and watch out for this guy. If you see him run the other way. 1 1 Quote

It’s kinda rude to just turn and run the other way 😂😂 1 Quote
