Ill mention this. If your looking for a good Jitterbug, I would try to find an older one made by the Fred Arbogast Co, in Akron Ohio.  The lip is thicker metal, and the hardware is better. The lip on the new Chinese made bugs is thin and bends easily, causing them to track poorly. I've picked them up at antique shops or yard sales.         If the lip is loose on an older one, put a small dab of waterproof epoxy on the screws, the reattach the lip.           Black is my favourite color, but frog, or the red/ white can be good also.

I wish I could use mine more.  But Jitterbugs aren't much use with all of this Oklahoma wind.

Jitterbug fish. I don’t know why but these big bass seem to want to absolutely destroy a jitterbug. They dive-bomb it mouth wide as if it’s their last supper. The sound of a big bass nailing a jitterbug is downright unnerving!
