Bought several Crush 50X, Crush 50S, 100X, and 100S lately.  Bought several of the ghost models which are somewhat translucent.  Both new 50X i fished yesterday leaked with no to little impact against rocks and no slaps on water to remove grass.  I guess I was able to tell they were both leaking since they were both translucent. Very frustrating.  I hope this isnt common and I got a couple bad ones but I was 2 for 2 yesterday.

@Huckfinn38 I’d give them a call at 936.228.7454 (they’re outta Texas) and ask them what’s the deal. 6th Sense seems like a reputable company as they make excellent baits and maybe they will replace them. Good luck

Yep I just did.  They want pictures which I sent. I did order them from the same place and she said they might be a bad batch.

Good to hear @Huckfinn38, hopefully you will get them replaced. Granted it is a little bit of an inconvenience that some would rather not deal with, but contacting the manufacturer helps them with product feedback which leads to a better quality product for us anglers.

I hope this isnt a thing...I just started buying the translucent ones.  Id have no clue on the painted ones unless they filled up.  One filled up about 1/4 of the cavity.  Other one was just a 1/10th.  The one that filled up 1/4 of the way was definitely not retrieving well.

6th sense is one of my favorite hard bait companies (right along with Spro, Berkley, Rapala, Strike King) their attention to detail and amazing colors are just well amazing.

Heres the downfall of the hardbaits, in heat they will split open, melt, leak, etc.... And the soft plastics are usually junk.

Its sad but what can you do, atleast in every experience ive witnessed someone else having they were quick to replace the bad ones.

Keep out of heat and sunlight as much as you can in the future.

They should work fine fishing the pond you have in your bedroom closet.
