Anyone deal with JDM tackle heaven?

Ive got a rod on order with them that appears to be taking longer than usual. Hope its nothing serious.

 

Ive had alot of good experiences with Digitaka, Asian portal, Hookup tackle and Japan fishing tackle...

I've purchased several rods from them.  They have the best selection, but aren't the cheapest.

Well they have been the worst experience Ive had in any JDM stuff for sure. Two weeks now, no tracking, no return emails. Going to have my CC company do a charge back if I dont see my package by this Friday.

Be fair warned, these guys are definitely not worth the trouble.

I have purchased 6 rods from JDM Tackle Heaven and never had a problem. Use my wife's Shop-Pay account and everything has worked out great. Delivery is usually within 4 days. Sorry to hear you are having problems with them. Digitaka usually beats them on reel prices, but JDM has about the best selection of JDM rods anywhere. Already got a 24 Poison Adrena BFS from them along with an Orochi Cliffhanger.

Ordered Roro BFS spool and 400m WXP1 25# Lonfort Oddport braid 5/9 from Japan Tackle.  Got an email that it would be shipped 5/10.  Arrived early afternoon 5/13.  Paid $26.78 S&H.  No free Megabass lure.    Kidding.  Line apparently on closeout at about 60% off so I made out like a bandit there.

 

Must have ordered one of the last spools.  Checked next day after ordering and it was out of stock.

I've never had issues with them in the past. They did just come off from a big holiday so I assume they are probably backed up with orders. Only thing bad I can say is they tend to be pricier than others. They also do tend to have more models than other places. Just order a poison ultima Ul/M and nobody but them had one.

This has been the worst experience Ive ever had with JDM purchasing. Horrible.

@Dye99 Did you order from existing stock, or did you Preorder?  If you considered Preorder, best advise is Don't Do That.

Nope, it was in stock. Ordered. Didnt hear anything for a while. There was a holiday in Japan so I just figured I would hear eventually. Never did, so I reached out. Said it was shipped, no tracking number. 

Promised the # would be sent to me, multiple emails and I finally got a number that was DHL. But said it never made it to the states.

Then I received a FedEx number. Again dead end as it probably never existed.

Emailed all this back to them didnt hear anything back until a email came through with a USPS tracking number.

Contacted DHL said they dont have a package.

Contacted USPS said they also have no package.

I told them I either want my item or my money back this Friday.

Of course no reply. on that.

 

Spent hours on the phone with these shipping services to be told Im chasing something that none of them have.

 

First time for everything though. Needless to say I will still with my other JDM companies from here on out.

I would go to credit card to reverse the charge given that history.  

Amex is really good filing on line, even if your charge to their card went through paypal.

I did get the quote but I didn't place an order. Shipping was $29.

I just got busy. When they send you the quote you have 5 days to place your order. And I went past that. I'll probably still do it, I just have to go through it all again. 

 

What model are you planning on getting?

Ah I see...I was looking at one of the Wild Side Frog Special rods.  But will probably wait to see what else is available for upcoming holidays.  Thanks for the responses.
