What is the difference from the Aldebaran MGL 50/51 and Aldebaran MGL 30/31?

Are they the same reel but one is USDM and the other is JDM?

From Japan Tackle website

"This MGL 30 model is to cast rigs in 5-7g weight well, a little heavier than that of Aldebaran BFS of 2-5g, and a little lighter than that of original Aldebaran 5-10g."

I believe the spools are different but the reel itself is the same. I want to say the JDM version 30/31 may hold a little less line. I have the JDM version (purchased b/c it was cheaper) and can't spool it when launching a long cast so you're probably fine with either if that is what you were wondering.

70diesel, thank you for your reply. I was actually asking cuz I ended up ordering a drag clicker kit for my Aldebaran MGL 51. I wasn't sure if the 50/51 and 30/31 frames were the same or different.  I'm using my Aldebaran MGL 51 more for BFS fishing.
