Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 1, 2024 Super User Posted May 1, 2024 I did a search with the above phrase. Zero results. I looked under 'Pictures' hoping it would tell me there. Not sure where the proper place is to ask this question. I want to download from my Android phone (Samsung S23). Thanks. Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted May 1, 2024 Super User Posted May 1, 2024 Are the pics too big or just having problems finding where to link them? Too big - go into the Photo Editor Choose 'More Options' there's a resize function there, then save (or save a copy under 'More Options' if you still want the full size original) This is from my A-51 - but the wife's S23 is virtually identical 1 Quote

Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 1, 2024 Author Super User Posted May 1, 2024 I downloaded Firefox. Logged into bassresource. Selected 'Edit'. Pressed 'Add Files'. Denied music and videos. Selected 'all' at the next option. Now pressing on 'Add Files' nothing happens. EDIT: Plugged phone into laptop. Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted May 1, 2024 Super User Posted May 1, 2024 Hmmm - I don't know cause all I had to do to post my previous was start the post, take a screenshot, resize, then Add File. Worked perfectly for me. - loyal FireFox user since 2007 Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 1, 2024 Author Super User Posted May 1, 2024 Trial. Crap. I can download Pictures off my S23 to the laptop, but not pictures in my Gallery. I tried taking a screenshot on my phone, but couldn't figure out how to include it in my post. This picture is from 'Pictures' not 'Gallery'. Quote

Screenshots are located in Internal Storage/DCIM/Screenshots - should be able to manipulate them like any other photo. I either edit pics in the Photo app itself, or go through Files...I never use the Gallery app. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 1, 2024 Author Super User Posted May 1, 2024 Pictures I take automatically go in the 'Gallery'. Google search: Usually, the screenshots are saved in the Gallery application inside the Screenshots album. To open the screenshot location, choose Screenshot saved. If this screen appears, choose an option, in this case, Gallery. After reading the above I found the Screenshot album. Still doesn't help me. At first holding the power button and volume down control seemed to work. Now I get 4 options when doing that. Power Off, Restart, Emergency Call and Medical info. I'm not getting a screenshot now using this method. Swiping with the side of my palm puts the screenshot in Gallery. Quote

Normal Photos are saved in "Internal Storage/DCIM/Camera" or "SD Card/DCIM/Camera" if you have a Micro-SD card and you changed your default location for saving pics to that. Screenshots - as I said earlier - are in "Internal Storage/DCIM/Screenshots" or "SD Card/DCIM/Screenshots" Those are the physical locations on your phone where the pictures are stored - like directories on a hard drive for your computer. Might want to also check "Internal Storage/Pictures" and "SD Card/Pictures" for any photos that got filed in those locations. Gallery is just an app for organizing pictures into virtual albums...it's not the storage location...Google would like you to think otherwise as they have access to it through the Google ID you have registered. The Files app is like Windows Explorer on a PC or Finder on Apple...allows you to peruse the actual storage locations of files on your phone. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 1, 2024 Author Super User Posted May 1, 2024 Will have to stop at Verizon store. Searched but couldn't find any of those locations. Quote
