Anonymouse-_-Ace Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 I just bought a bunch of 4' and 5', white paddle tails for pike and bass and plan to run them for bass and pike but I got to thinking there are really not any white bait fish up here in Northern ny. Any ideas on if they'll work or not or should I try another color? Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted April 25, 2024 Super User Posted April 25, 2024 They should work just fine. We split hairs over color all the time, but the reality is that most of the time it probably doesn't matter. In any case, I'm sure you have crappie, shiners, brook silverside minnows, or something like that swimming around. 3 Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 26, 2024 Super User Posted April 26, 2024 White is a good color in almost all waters. Especially tanic or off color water. Welcome to BR. 2 Quote
Super User Bird Posted April 26, 2024 Super User Posted April 26, 2024 White / Pearl / Bone all seem to be universal. 1 Quote
The Baron Posted April 27, 2024 Posted April 27, 2024 Yes, absolutely. I'm in SE Ontario and do very well on white paddletails, on either a jig head/ball head or an Owner Flashy Swimmer underspin. 1 Quote
